The Alexandria Middle School Beginner Band is made up of students in 6th – 8th grade with limited or no playing experience, but who are eager to learn and eventually play in the more experienced groups. We focus on learning the fundamentals of music and basic instrumental techniques used throughout the band program.
The Beginner Band performs at our annual Christmas and Spring programs.
Each student should come to class PREPARED (well-practiced).
Each student should be on their best behavior, at all times. I'll accept nothing less.
Each student should come to class with all of their required materials (instrument with all necessary parts, music, and pencil)
